the most devastating story I have witnessed in my life.
our community is in shock, enraged, in deep deep pain and sorrow for this accident and loss of young people. my family is mourning the loss of Rose, my daughters big sister. she was only 15 years old. 3 other teens died in this accident and 1 is in critical condition. the drunk driver walked away with minor injuries.

My daughter and I love to take a walk in the evening - the railyard is still one of our favorite places to walk through. They are doing lots of construction there these days - new buildings surrounding this precious old train station. I love that it's still very quiet around town at this time of the day and we only saw a couple of strangers and engineers there today.
This liquor store in my neighborhood is seedy, creepy and pretty much bad news...I am totally fascinated by the life in and around it. Late last night I used my timer to take these shots from across the street. Must have looked funny to see a lady running back and forth in the dark. I took two shots.
Friday evening in Santa Fe - a walk through the plaza (where I saw the killer graffiti van), pizza at Cafe Cafe... then a walk through the railyard. Pretty mellow, a little chilly but very enjoyable!
