my fly

I came up with this ridiculous idea about 10 yrs ago - I started with toy flies and hand painted them to look as real as possible and then attached them to the spoon using posts, glue and solder. I got lucky and found an attractive vintage toy fly and had a mold made from it. Each fly is soldered to old silver spoons, forks and many other silver kitchen items. I have sold them locally for quite some time and just made a new batch...I will list a few on Etsy in the near future. Odd, unusual and very special!
